Ray of Sunshine Layout

I had some fun pictures of our son playing at the beach…well as much playing as a nine month old does, but I was stuck on how to use them.  I then came across the Child’s Play Monopoly challenge, and the arrow on the go tile of the board hit me.  I was going to use arrows since in the pictures he’s upside down and sideways!
I also wanted to use the new Inspired By challenge over at Sketch ~ N ~ Scrap.  It was an awesome sketch!

The sketch only used one photo, but I wanted to use three so I grouped them all very closesly to achieve the same effect.  I also used my arrow strip to mimic the strip in the sketch, but also to place the round area at the corner of the photo just like the sketch embellishment. Some misting and enamel dots completed my sketch “copying”.
If I was to do the layout again I think I would emboss the red paper (which is actually a red and brown tiny chevron) with swiss dots to match the outter dotted paper.  All in all I’m pretty pleased with how it came out.  ๏ปฟ
