Practical Scrappers – July Blog Hop

July 25, 2014

Welcome to my first, of hopefully many, submission in the monthly Practical Scrappers Scrap Our Stash blog hop.  You should have arrived here from Majken’s blog.
This go around we had a theme of using either Christmas or Winter.  Since I had already done a Christmas item this week I went with a winter theme.   The papers are from the 6×6 pad of Carta Bella’s Winter Fun collection.  I love how this has traditional winter elements, but in creative reds and teals.  The sticker is from Authentique’s Glistening collection, and lastly the sequins are from Doodlebug.
To give my snowflake a little something extra without loosing the cards clean and simple feel.  I went over it with a clear Wink of Stella pen.  It gives it a subtle shimmer without being over the top.
Now for the extra fun part…blog candy.  I have a 6×6 Lawn Fawn paper pad to give away to a US based fan, and maybe a few other goodies too.  To be entered to win you must leave me a comment on this page, follow me on Bloglovin and my Facebook page.  Links for both are on the right side of my blog.
Up next please head over to Jennifer’s page, and until next time…Keep Scrapping!

Awesome card! I just bought my first Wink of Stella pen (ok it was 3 months ago and I've been afraid to use it) I love how it makes that snowflake shimmer. I might have to get brave and give it a try.

I love your card and the sentiment behind it! Your snowflake rocks! πŸ™‚
I am following you both ways (in as many ways as you have that I can follow I am: mippyfoofalina) Do you still put things on Etsy as well? I went to your shop but it doesn't have anything atm. I'd love to see what your creations are and what you sell. Thanks so much for sharing this! Have a terrific rest of your weekend! πŸ™‚ ~Mippy/Sabrina πŸ™‚

Thank you so much Sabrina! I haven't put anything on etsy in awhile as I wasn't getting many bites, but I could certainly try again πŸ™‚
