Bride Wedding Scrapbook Layout

June 13, 2018

Hey crafty friends!  It’s time for another reveal with Southern Girls Challenge.  This round that challenge is the easiest….ANYTHING GOES!!!!  I decided to continue with my sister’s wedding photos and created a bride wedding scrapbook layout.

***THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS.  PLEASE SEE SIDEBAR FOR COMPLETE DISCLOSURE***

Bride Wedding Scrapbook Layout Supply List

  • Carta Bella Rustic Elegance Collection*
  • Tim Holtz Tiny Words – Snarky*
  • Tim Holtz Heart Punch*
  • Gelatos*
  • Circle Punch*
  • Black Color Shine*

This layout is a bit on the cheeky side.  The story is that my sister is a coffee addict.  Her friends stopped that morning, got her a cup of Starbucks, and had it labeled bride instead of her name.  I was paranoid that she was going to spill it on her dress!

Coming up with ideas for wedding layouts can get repetitive. This bride focused wedding scrapbook layout has both style and bit of fun. It is also easily re-created with minimal supplies.

Since I used all patterned paper on this layout I went very simple with my embellishments. I made the cluster in the upper left with a circle punch, heart punch, a snarky phrase and two tiny hearts.  The wood veneer in the lower right were colored with gelatos and paired with a piece cut from the patterned paper.  With the colored foam title and some splatters it’s enough to be interesting, but not overwhelming.

I would be remiss if I also didn’t mention the sketch book I used as my starting point.  If you haven’t seen the first sketch book from Heather’s Crafty Life you need to go check it out.  She gives you 50 sketches for just $5.  You really can’t go wrong.

If you’re still with me…thank you for reading it all.  I hope you’ll pop over to the challenge and share you creations with us.  As always please leave me a link here as well so I can make sure to check our your work.  I’ll be back soon with more layouts, and more wedding inspiration.  Until next time…stay crafty!

Aw, this was an incredibly good post. Taking a few minutes and actual effort
to create a great article… but what can I say… I put things off a lot and don’t seem to get nearly anything done.

When I originally commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox and now each time a
comment is added I get four e-mails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
    Thank you!

I can not remove you from that feature, but when you receive an email that a comment was added there is a subscription option at the bottom of the email where you can remove yourself. I hope that helps, and if not please let me know and I’ll see what else I can find out.
