Hey scrappy friends! How is everyone holding up? We’re staying home, working on online schooling and trying to stay busy. I feel myself father unmotivated in regards to my crafting though. I don’t know if it’s the current situation, feeling responsible for making sure there’s not to much tv/screen time or something entirely unrelated. I decided though that making goals and lists have always helped my motivation so that’s what I’m doing for my scrapbooking this month too. Without further ado I share with you my April 2020 monthly scrapbook goals.
- This is probably the easiest one to come up with. I want to complete four layouts this month. I think one a week is totally reasonable, and more importantly doable.
- I want to use three piece of flair from the HUGE collection that I have. I haven’t bought flair in years, and if I’m honest I haven’t them in years either. If you look closely – one of the black flair says 2014! I chose three because if I on’y get to do four layouts I’m not sure I’ll be able to use one on every layout.
- I want to kill this scrapbook kit from Authentique. It’s called Loyal and it’s from….I’m embarrassed to say 2011. I love Authentique paper, but when I purchase a collection from them I always struggle to use it. One of my larger goals this year is to use up what I have from them….starting with this kit.
- Last I want to kill this 6×6 pad from the My Minds Eye collection called The Sweetest Thing Bluebell. The collection is from 2012, and I only have 14 6×6 sheets left. These paper pads were anything I bought ages ago and stopped because I find I never use them. This year I’m going to try to pick a few out and get them used up. I thought about making card stacks from them, but since I don’t really stamp…idk
So I think that’s about all for this month. I’d love to hear if you make monthly scrapbook goals, and if you do – please share them if you’re comfortable. We can help keep each other on track! Also, do you have any trips or tricks to use up the 6×6 collections or older collections you’re not so found of anymore? I’d love to hear your ideas. Until next time…stay crafty!
